REMIX (Youth/Young Adult)
REMIX serves teens and adults with special needs. We offer Sunday morning programs as well as other social and recreational opportunities. Our desire is to share the love of Christ with your student and help them build Godly relationships that will last a lifetime.
Worship
Sunday Morning Programs
We offer Sunday school at both the 9:30 and 11:00 hour in the youth area at The Loft. Students can mainstream into our youth programs or attend a Sunday school class with developmentally appropriate Bible lessons. Volunteers are assigned to assist students in either program. Check-in for these programs is at the Youth Information Desk.
Family Worship Services
A casual worship service designed especially for you. Join us in Wesley Hall for this communion services.
We begin at 11 am with worship.

SOCIAL & RECREATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES
REMIX Friday Nite Fun
An exciting event just for special needs teens and young adults! Come join us in the youth area at The Loft on specified Fridays of each month for dinner, hang out time, group games and more. Cost is $10.00 - Click here for Online registration.
REMIX Sports Saturdays
Join us for flag football (Feb 20, 2. Games are played on the sports field in front of The Loft. Athletes play alongside and assisted by adult and teen volunteers. There are no practices. Click here to Register!
Special Champions Basketball
Special Champions is an exciting basketball league for children and teens with special needs. We play in October on Saturdays for one hour in the TWUMC gym. There are no practices. Athletes play at their ability level and are assisted by caring volunteers. Registration will be available online.
REMIX Prom
Our REMIX Prom stands out as one of the highlights of the year. Join us for a night of dancing and loads of fun! This is a prom designed just for special needs students. Click to Register!
Summer Fun Days/Day Trips
We continue the fun during the summer with Summer Fun days and day trips. Previous activities have included tours of Reliant Stadium and the Port of Houston as well as various mission projects. Registration online.
Special Needs Ministry VBS
Our next VBS will be August 3-5, 2010 from 2:00-4:00. Registration will be available online.
FAMILY FELLOWSHIP & SUPPORT
Moms’ Group
Our moms’ group is a great way to connect with other mothers of special needs children. We offer a Bible study as well as other social events. Dates for upcoming events are shown below:
Mom's Bible Study
What: Come join us for fellowship, prayer and renewal as we study God’s word.
When: Every Other Thursday at the church in the Planet 56 from 10:00 – 11:30 p.m.
